Thus, in the previous two sentences [sUthrams], piLLai lOkAchAryar revealed the importance of performing kainkaryam and the disaster which will occur when kainkaryam is not performed; subsequently, he is eliminating the thought of kainkaryam being the means [to attain something else].
kainkaryandhannaip pala sAdhanam AkkAdhE palam Akka vENum.
Instead of having kainkaryam as the means to attain something else, it should be the end goal.
That is – while doing the previously explained kainkaryam which is to be performed without fail, instead of considering it as the means for visible and invisible results, it should simply be considered as the goal.
