After explaining the targets of ISvara’s qualities, subsequently, piLLai lOkAchAryar is mercifully explaining the targets of chEthana’s qualities.
ivanudaiya gyAnaththukku ilakku AchArya guNam; agyAnaththukku ilakku AchArya dhOsham; Sakthikku ilakku AchArya kainkaryam; aSakthikku ilakku nishidhdhAnushtAnam.
The target of chEthana’s knowledge is AchArya’s qualities; the target of chEthana’s ignorance is AchArya’s faults; the target of chEthana’s ability is to serve AchArya; the target of chEthana’s inability is to engage in forbidden acts.
ivanudaiya gyAnaththukku ilakku AchArya guNam
The target of this [surrendered] chEthana’s knowledge is the collection of noble qualities of the AchArya who is a great benefactor.
agyAnaththukku ilakku AchArya dhOsham
The target of this chEthana’s ignorance [i.e. Sishya should ignore] is the fault which is accidental and which occurs to the natural tendency of being in a physical, divine form.
Sakthikku ilakku AchArya kainkaryam
The target of this chEthana’s ability to act is the kainkaryam which is done by him for his AchArya’s pleasure.
aSakthikku ilakku nishidhdhAnushtAnam
The target of this chEthana’s inability is the conducts which are forbidden in SAsthram, which are hurdles for svarUpa (self’s true nature), upAya (means) and purushArtha (goal).
